The MountainAires was formed in the fall of 1974 and officially chartered in January of 1975.  The Chorus was formed as an alternative to the competition-oriented choruses in the Denver area.  The chorus' focus is singing excellence as well as devoting chapter time to the joy of quartet singing.

We support the Rocky Mountain District although we do not compete.  We are a strong supporter of Young Men In Harmony and have been in the fore front of providing funding to these young men.

We had a successful and rewarding first thirty years and look forward to continuing as a leader in the Rocky Mountain District.
